张宝恩（1944.12.8 – 2025.9.20），中国哈尔滨人，在三代亲人的关爱中平静离开。当天的纽约，秋高气爽，祥云相伴。

少年丧父，他必须打零工补贴家用；同时刻苦学习，高中毕业时考入医学最高学府，北京医学院（现北大医学部）。在火红的年代，随“大串联”用双脚丈量过祖国的山河，并和同样来北京求学的孟秀云成为终身伴侣。大学毕业后到地质部工作，从北京到广西锻炼，支援边疆和友邦；期间，两个优秀的女儿，张巍和张琰，在广西桂林出生。高考恢复后，他是最早考取研究生的一代。作为慈父的他，对两个女儿的教育尽心尽力，她们后来都考入在北京的大学。在离开北京二十二年之后，他们夫妻俩又回到北京工作和生活。

作为医生的他，为无数患者解除过痛苦；作为教授的他，主编的教材在退休多年后还在再版。和这些职业贡献相比，更大的成就是：他是个有口皆碑的好人，好丈夫、好父亲、好姥爷。两个女儿及女婿（湛日景、王海东）相继出国留学并定居美国。在他和老伴儿往返于北京和美国、最终定居纽约的三十年间，尽心尽力关爱下一代（Bobby, Kelsey, Sean, Max）。已经长大成人的他们，都是姥爷最好的朋友和最大的安慰。

作为慈父和优质姥爷的他将长眠于纽约；作为孝子的他也将在哈尔滨老家陪伴在艰苦岁月中将孩子们抚养成人的母亲。孝道传世，后代们将怀着敬仰凭吊这位慈祥的好人，先辈们也必然为这样的孝子含笑九泉。
