At Ballard-Durand Funeral & Cremation Services, we hear about the wonderful work hospice caregivers do for families in the Hudson Valley every day. In 2018 we have started our Caregiver Award Program to honor these dedicated people for the great care and comfort they bring to patients and their families.

The Federal Government provides a death benefit for honorable discharged veterans. The dollar amount varies based on where the death occurs (VA hospital) and if the death was service-related.
