Pia (D'Ippolito) DeLaurentis

Pia Maria D’Ippolito DeLaurentis, a longtime resident of Elmsford, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2022. Pia was 83 years old. She was born in Colledimezzo, Chieti in Italy, the daughter of beloved mother, Pierina (D’Addario) D’Ippolito and beloved father, Felicio D’Ippolito. In 1957, she moved to the United States, held various jobs until her retirement. She was a loving wife to beloved husband, Remo DeLaurentis and had been married for over 60 years until Remo’s death in 2016. Pia was a wonderful, caring, and loving mother to her three children: Gabriel DeLaurentis, Fred DeLaurentis, and Sandra (DeLaurentis) Caralyus, a loving and caring mother-in-law to her daughter-in-law, Antonella DeLaurentis and son-in-law, Robert Caralyus. Pia was a wonderful and loving grandmother to her grandchildren: Melissa DeLaurentis, Gabriella DeLaurentis, Robert John Caralyus, and Gianna Caralyus. Pia had a great relationship with her entire extended family and her husband’s family.  She will be remembered for her caring and loving heart, her generosity, her love for her entire family, her excellent cooking and baking skills, and for the many wonderful relationships, she had throughout her lifetime. She is pre-deceased by her in-laws, Federico DeLaurentis and Ersilia DeLaurentis. She is pre-deceased by her brother, Americo D’Ippolito, and is survived by his wife, Anna. She is survived by her brother, Dominick D’Ippolito and his wife, Lucy. She is pre-deceased by her brother-in-law, Joseph DiNardo and his wife, Mary. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Anthony DeLaurentis, and his wife, Theresa.  She is survived by her brother-in-law, Joseph DeLaurentis, and his wife, Helen.  She is pre-deceased by her brother-in-law, Eduardo Vizioli and survived by his wife, Aurelia. She is pre-deceased by her brother-in-law, Gustino D’Addario and his wife, Zita. She is survived by many nephews and nieces.
