Marie A. (Verano) Iafratto

Marie Iafratto of White Plains, NY died peacefully Friday with her family by her side.
She was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Mary Barletta Verano and was a graduate of Hazleton High School in Pennsylvania.
Marie worked at the original Macys in White Plains and IBM and AMF corporate cafeterias before retiring. She enjoyed cooking, casinos and her husbands accordion playing.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband Louis Iafratto also sisters Rose, Anne, Theresa, Catherine "Kitty" and brothers Richard, Joseph and Frank.
Marie would like to thank White Plains Police Department, Empress Ambulance, Westchester EMS and all the medical personnel who came to her aid numerous times. Her friends and family who she enjoyed.
There will be a mass at Mount Carmel Church, 92 South Lexington, White Plains, NY 10606 at 10:00am, Wednesday April 27th.
Interment will be private.
