Maria M. Puig

Maria Puig, more popularly known as “Madreselva,” was born on December 22, 1940, in Ecuador. She resided in White Plains, N.Y. for more than 60 years. Maria had a love of authentic, homemade foods from all countries. She was an avid book reader and had a love for travel. Maria made sure to put a smile on everyone’s face whether it was with her sarcastic humor or by showing love for her family and friends. She is survived by her Godchildren: Maria Avenaut, Eduardo Avenaut, Marissa Ramirez, Damien Ramirez, and Ciara Ramirez.
