Joseph (Giuseppe) Sabatini, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away on November 2, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Joseph was 81 years old, born in Picinisco, Italy, on August 31, 1940, to Antonio Sabatini and Emilia Valentini.  Joseph came to this country in 1958 and worked as a butcher for Shopwell. Joseph loved going to the Catskills for long weekends and going hunting.  Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Emily Sabatini and children Denise Labrusciano, Joseph Sabatini, Jr., Deborah Sabatini, son-in-law Scott Labrusciano, and the apple of his eye granddaughter Gabriella Labrusciano.  Joseph is survived by his sisters Anna Deluca, Ginevra Cervi, and predeceased by his sister Maria D’Andrea and brothers Lorenzo Sabatini and Natalino Sabatini.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 8, at 10 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Elmsford, NY.  Reposing Sunday, November 7 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm; at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 72 East Main Street, Elmsford, NY.  Interment will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hathorne, NY.  Memorial contributions in Joseph’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society https://www.cancer.org/
