George F. Daher

George Daher passed away on March 18, 2022, he was 92.  George lived each of his years to the fullest.

Born in Lebanon, George was a free spirit who traveled extensively in his youth.

While still in his teens he found himself in the US, a country he immediately fell in love with.

Eventually he met and married Marjorie Sroka, and together they raised four children: Ferris, David, Lori, and Glenn.

George was an amazing father and grandfather.  He was a gifted man who could excel at anything he set his mind to.  He loved his hobbies: beekeeping, winemaking, cooking, and gardening, while he managed a large multi-acre estate for over 50 years.

“Work is love made visible”, wrote his favorite poet, Khalil Gibran.  George lived it.

He helped and guided many family members as well as friends, tirelessly encouraging them to realize their dreams in America.

George touched many lives over many generations.  He leaves behind a legacy any man would be proud of, I know we are.

We all love you, you will be dearly missed.
