Elizabeth (Betsy) Lublin

Elizabeth “Betsy” (Plaut) Lublin, 69, Loving Mother of two, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2021 in White Plains, NY.  Betsy was born in Staten Island New York on April 23, 1952. She was the only child of Robert & Patricia Plaut (Deceased) and was raised in Larchmont, NY for 20 years, then lived in White Plains, NY for 30+ years. She graduated from Mamaroneck High School in 1970 and Ohio University in 1974 with a BSEd Degree in H.S. Russian. Betsy was the proud mother of 2 daughters, Jennifer (Jen) & Deborah (Debbie). She was the beloved cousin to E. Wynn Plaut, Kim Sullivan, Quentin Plaut, Barbara Regen & Henry (Hank) Maimin.

Betsy was a former Pension Plan Administrator at Alan T. Nahoum, Inc. & Professional Pension Planners, Inc.  She was the former President of Singles In Action, Inc., a Non-Profit, Westchester Singles Organization. Betsy also acted as a former VP of Membership & Group Organizer of Parents Without Partners Westchester Chapter. In her spare time she enjoyed organizing events for various Women’s groups of MeetUp.com.

Some of Betsy’s favorite joys were cruising the high seas, Yankees Baseball, Mah Jongg, Canasta, collecting vintage Barbie memorabilia, entertaining her friends and family culinarily. She was animated, upbeat, warm and humorous. She was a wonderful hostess. Betsy made it a point to be giving and inviting everywhere she got the chance to.

Visitation and Service at Ballard-Durand, White Plains, NY followed by Internment at Ferncliff Cemetery (Please note, Masks Required). If you would like to celebrate Betsy by sending flowers to the family, you may send directly to Ballard Durand Funeral Home in White Plains, NY for the visitation on August 26, 2021. Or in Lieu of Flowers, donations to the charity of your choice, in memory of Betsy Lublin would be greatly appreciated.
