Anna (Di Benedetto) Campagniolo

March 7, 1934 — October 11, 2021

White Plains

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Anna Campagniolo on October 11, 2021, at the age of 87, in White Plains, New York. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to all whose lives she touched.

Anna was the daughter of the late Concetta and Francesco Di Benetto, born on March 7, 1934, in Caserta, Italy. She was the beloved wife and best friend of the late Vincenzo Campagniolo, and the two were blessed to share 50 years married together. Anna and Vincenzo started their family in their hometown of Caserta, and worked tirelessly to move their family to White Plains, New York in 1966. Anna then devoted her time to caring for others, working at Tibbits Rehabilitation and Nursing Home for over 20 years. Anna was known for her warmth of heart, she lived in her kitchen, forever cooking delicious meals for family and friends old and new.

Anna was the beloved mother of Frank and his wife Filomena; Jerry and his wife Grace; Anna Maria and her husband Dominick Naimoli; and Antonietta and her husband Robert Johnson. Anna was the proud grandmother to: Michelle and her husband James DeFonce; Vincent and his wife Robyn Campagniolo; Anna Campagniolo; and Ashley and Emily Johnson. She was also the cherished great-grandmother of Giuliana, James, and Gemma DeFonce; and Hudson and Devyn Campagniolo. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life, and she never missed a chance to love and support them in every facet.

She loved her family and friends unconditionally; and instilled strength, kindness, and a love of cooking in her children and grandchildren that they will forever carry with them. She will be dearly missed and live forever in our hearts.

A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 am on October 14, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, White Plains, New York. Burial will be held at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, New York.
