Andrea Michelle Pinto passed away surrounded by family at her childhood home in New York this past Wednesday, September 15 after a long illness.  She was 41.  Born in White Plains, N.Y. to Ronni (Claremon) and Donald Lee, she grew up in Scarsdale, N.Y. and lived in Washington, D.C. before moving to Louisville in 2015.

Andrea was a graduate of Williams College, the University of Michigan and Columbia Law School.  She practiced law at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in Washington before moving to Louisville.  Andrea had many interests, among them were traveling the world, baking bagels for friends, reading books, following the Seahawks and UK football, and finding great shopping opportunities.  She will be remembered for the effortless strength she demonstrated in all situations and her endless curiosity.

A private service was held to celebrate her life at Congregation Kol Ami in White Plains on September 19.
