ZITA MORAZZO LOPES DA SILVA
08/13/1932 - 09/11/2026
Zita Lopes Da Silva, a beloved matriarch and devoted homemaker, passed away peacefully at her home at the remarkable age of 94.
Born in the vibrant island of São Vicente, Cabo Verde, Zita carried the warmth, strength, and rich culture of her homeland with her throughout her life. As a proud homemaker, she was the absolute cornerstone of her family, dedicating herself entirely to creating a home filled with love, open doors, and lasting traditions. Her greatest joy and proudest achievement were the vast, loving family she nurtured.
She will be remembered for her gentle strength and the quiet grace with which she led her family. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit lives on in the generations she loved so fiercely.

Following the wake, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Holy Name of Jesus Church in Valhalla, New York.
