Walter J. Hall

Walter J. Hall 82, of Thornwood, N.Y. died on Feb.18, 2014 at his residence. He was born on June 30, 1931 to the late August and Margaret Hall in Bronx, N.Y. He graduated
from Roosevelt High School in Yonkers, N.Y. and played hockey in his senior year and won a tournament. Walter proudly served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and earned five Bronze Stars. He was owner of Halls Refrigeration with his father in the Bronx, N.Y. and later was owner of Yonkers Golf Range in Yonkers, N.Y. He was predeceased by his devoted wife, Harriet Ann (nee Reilly) Hall in 1962 and his sister,
Margaret Bozza. Walter is survived by his loving son, Rick (Karen) Hall of Eastchester, N.Y. and by his cherished grandson, Rich (Jen) Hall of Yonkers, N.Y. and great grandson, R.J. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
