Walter Humberto Bazan, amado esposo y padre, falleció pacíficamente el 28 de julio de 2025, a la edad de 76 años. Nació el 27 de abril de 1949 en Cajamarca, Perú, donde pasó sus primeros años antes de construir una vida llena de amor y propósito.

Walter sirvió con orgullo como policía en Lima, Perú, antes de emigrar a los Estados Unidos en 1980. Se estableció en el condado de Westchester, Nueva York, donde dedicó más de 32 años de servicio en el área de mantenimiento en New York Presbyterian Westchester Behavioral Health. Su ética de trabajo y compromiso por ayudar a los demás fueron evidentes cada día.

Walter deja en vida a su amada esposa, Violeta Bazan; su hija, Martha Bazan; y su hijastra, Sally Acevedo. Walter Humberto Bazan, beloved husband and father, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025, at the age of 76. He was born on April 27, 1949, in Cajamarca, Peru, where he spent his early years before building a life filled with love and purpose.

Walter proudly served as a policeman in Lima, Peru before immigrating to the United States in 1980. He settled in Westchester County, New York, where he dedicated over 32 years of service to New York Presbyterian Westchester Behavioral Health in maintenance. His work ethic and commitment to helping others were evident every single day.

Walter is survived by his loving wife, Violeta Bazan; his daughter, Martha Bazan; and his step-daughter, Sally Acevedo. He will forever be remembered for his deep love for nature and animals, his unwavering kindness, his humility, and his lighthearted sense of humor. Walter had a natural gift for caring for others and was always ready to lend a helping hand. His love and devotion to his family were the foundation of his life.

Walter’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will always be missed, cherished, and remembered for the beautiful person he was.
