Trudy Willstatter

Trudy Willstatter was born in Beverly Hills, California. She graduated from Lake Placid High School and then attended Brenau College in Gainesville, Georgia. She was a preschool teacher in California until she married Navy veteran Dick Willstatter in 1951. Trudy and Dick lived in Scarsdale, Greenwich and finally Rye Brook, New York. Trudy was a championship golfer, winning the tournament at Sunningdale Country Club twice and was runner up three times. She was a Life Master bridge player. She had three children: Patti, who was an advertising executive in Chicago until her death in 2008, Amy, and Richard. She has two granddaughters, Sara and Emily.
