Thomas A. Tropea

Thomas A. Tropea 94, most recently of Pleasantville, N.Y. and formerly of West Harrison, N.Y. died on March 8, 2020 at Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne, N.Y. He was born on March 29, 1925 to the late Francesco and Giulia (nee Bruno) Tropea in Bronx, N.Y. Tom was owner-operator of Beauty Studio in West Harrison, N.Y. for many years. He was an avid Classic Car Enthusiast , Dance Instructor and an avid Tennis Player, to name a few of his interests. Tom is survived by his devoted wife, Dorie (nee Santorsola) Tropea of Pleasantville, N.Y. and by his loving children, Dana Orifici of South Salem, N.Y., Dale (Peter) Krupowicz of Yorktown Hgts., N.Y. and Thomas (Michelle) Tropea of Yorktown Hgts., N.Y. also survived by his nine cherished grandchildren, Taryn, Christopher, Gia, Ava, Krista, Ariel, Leeann, Naomi and Corey and nine great grandchildren. Predeceased by his four brothers, Antonio, Paolo, Sebastiano and Rosario and his two deceased sisters, Mary and Jean Marie. Also survived by his many nieces and nephews. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, St. Anthony of Padua Church, West Harrison, N.Y. on Wednesday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
