Theresa McGinn

Theresa  McGinn, 93, of Warwick, N.Y. and formerly of Bronx, N.Y. passed away on July 25,2022.  She was born in the Bronx on Dec. 5, 1928 to Harold and Mary McGinn.  Theresa is predeceased by her siblings Mary, Catherine, Joan, Harold and Edward.  She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

After graduating from Immaculata High School in 1945, she became a Carmelite nun for a brief time.  After attending secretarial school, she worked for General Electric for 10 years, then at Fordham University’s Duane Library for 27 years.  She was a devout Roman Catholic, contributing time and money to St. Stephen the Martyr Church and many Catholic charities.  She was a kind, unassuming Aunt and friend who led a peaceful life.   There will be a graveside burial service for Theresa at The Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY, on Friday July 29 ^th at 11 am.  She will RIP beside her parents.
