Susan DeMarsico

Susan DeMarsico, 75, of White Plains, New York, passed away on January 20th, 2024 after a long illness.
 
Sue was born on March 13th, 1948 in White Plains, NY, and was the youngest of three children to the late John and Flora Mastandrea. She was a graduate of White Plains High School.
 
She was married to Stephen DeMarsico from September 28th, 1968 until Stephen’s passing in December 1990.
 
Sue spent over 25 years with her partner Bob Morano until his passing in 2017.
 
She worked for many years for New York Power Authority in White Plains NY until her retirement in 2013.
 
Sue enjoyed many hobbies including reading, attending concerts and Broadway shows with friends, and traveling. She spent many days at the pool, her “happy place”, with good friends.
 
She is survived by her son Stephen DeMarsico Jr, her daughter in law Donna DeMarsico, and her beloved granddaughter Casey DeMarsico. In addition she is survived by her two brothers Bobby (Anabel) Mastandrea and John (Carol) Mastandrea, sisters in law Jody (Ed) Grant and Diane (Rod) Lucero and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Sue was fortunate to have a wide circle of loyal and loving friends as well. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son Michael in February 2018.
 
There will be a memorial celebration of Sue’s life on Wednesday, March 13th, 2024 from 2-6pm at Ballard Durand Funeral Home in White Plains NY.
