He was born on Sept. 12, 1938 to the late Antonio and Saveria (nee Carbonara) Della Vecchia in Nusco Avellino Naples Italy. Stefano was a self employed landscaper in the Westchester Area. He is survived by his devoted wife Franca (nee Cuconato) Della Vecchia of Thornwood, N.Y. His loving sons; Tony Della Vecchia and his fiancé Jennifer of Thornwood, N.Y. Stephen Della Vecchia of Thornwood, N.Y. Sandro Della Vecchia and his fiancé FiFi of Pleasantville, N.Y. and Alfio Della Vecchia and his wife Antoinette of Yorktown Hgts., N.Y. His brother Ernesto Della Vecchia and his wife Rita of Hawthorne, N.Y. and his 3 sisters; Anna Carbonara and her husband Antonio of Toronto, Canada Filomena Spagnoletti and her husband Emilio of Hawthorne, N.Y. and Maria Natale of Canada. Brother in law of Elizabeth Della Vecchia. Predeceased by 1 brother Ralph Della Vecchia. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Monday (today) 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Tuesday 10 AM. Entombment Rosewood Mausoleum at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, N.Y.
