Roy A. Funderburk 91, most recently of Saratoga Springs, N.Y. and formerly of
Thornwood, N.Y. died on Feb.13, 2014 at Saratoga Hospital. He was born on
March 31, 1922 to the late Virgil and Rosa Funderburk in Cooter, MO. Roy proudly served in the US Navy from 1942-1948. After receiving an honorable discharge he became a member of the White Plains Police Department from 1951-1971. Upon his retirement from the police force, he worked for another 23 years at the Home Savings Bank in White Plains. He is survived by his loving daughter, Anita Harding and his cherished granddaughter, Aimee (Mark) Anderson all of Saratoga Springs, N.Y. and predeceased by his devoted wife Margaret Funderburk in 2005.
