Rosa Cantisani

Rosa Cantisani 98, of Thornwood, N.Y. and formerly of Yonkers, N.Y. died on Dec.17, 2015. She was born on Nov.12, 1917 to the late Pietro and Maria Cosentino in Yonkers, N.Y.then lived in Italy from (1921-1964) then settled back to Yonkers, N.Y. Rosa was predeceased by her devoted husband, Raffaele Cantisani in 1999 and by her three deceased brothers and her four deceased sisters. She is survived by her loving children, Biagio Cantisani of Armonk, N.Y., Nicholas Cantisani of Belgium, Peter Cantisani of Oakland, Calif., Maria (Tony) Dellorso of Thornwood, N.Y. and Carmela Cantisani(Gilbert Converset)of Montery, Calif. also survived by her seven cherished grandchildren, Robert, Mark, Rosanne, Anthony, Frank, Rosemaria and Sara and thirteen great grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday, 3-7 PM.
Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Monday, 10 AM. Entombment, Ferncliff Mausoleum, Hartsdale, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
