Ronald Martin Klar passed at his home in Westchester on the evening of February 19, 2018 surrounded by his family, after a short illness.
Ron was born June 16, 1940 in Queens, NY to Bell and Joseph Klar. His older brother Kurt Klar predeceased him in 2003.
Ron attended Rider College and St. Johns Law School and had his law practice in the Bronx, NY until his retirement in October 2014. Ron married Margo Klar (nee Smith) and had four children: Kerry Langell Rubenstein (Howie), Howard P. Klar (Jennifer), Robert L. Klar (Jonathan), and David S. Langell, who predeceased him in 1989.
He absolutely adored his grandchildren The "Triplets" David, Matthew and Kasey Rubenstein, and his precious Julia and Ethan Klar.
Ron was an extremely kind, generous, energetic and athletic person who loved to play tennis and golf at the Willow Ridge Country Club and made many friends along the way.
Family will receive friends from 10am-11am on Friday February 23, 2018 at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Avenue, White Plains, NY where a Funeral Service will be held at 11am. Interment will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
