Robin P. (Light) Alvarez

Robin Patricia Alvarez, 59, of Stormville, N.Y. and formerly of White Plains, N.Y. passed away suddenly on Tuesday March 8th 2022 in Lagrangeville NY.

Robin was born January 4, 1963 and raised in White Plains, NY. She married her high school sweet heart Fidel Alvarez and had 3 beautiful children.  Robert, Dana and Patrick  were the absolute shining light in her life.

She loved spending time with her Brother Bobby, his wife Wendi and their daughters Hannah and Sophia.

Robin’s father lived close by with his wife & family.  Robin  would visit daily and share coffee and sweets and catch up on all the family news. Whether it was one of the grand childrens soccer games or any of their  other accomplishments she was always happy to share the news with her dad.

Recently Robin was told she was going to become a grandmother. Her son Patrick and his wife Gina have a baby due  this summer. She was looking forward to this new chapter in all of our lives.

In addition to the family she was looking forward to welcoming Dana’s future Husband, Hiram to the family this fall at their upcoming wedding.

Robin loved all animals. Her pets were an extension of her family. Her passion for animals was evident throughout her entire life often volunteering her time to help local animal rescues and shelters.

Robin loved going to the beach and the local lakes. She loved the summer months and these weekly trips were a must do with Robin.

She always wanted the best for all and was a giving and sharing person. She would always put others first and her family and friends will always remember and thank  her for that.

In lieu of flowers, a GoFundPage has been created for donations to be made in her name that will be donated in her name to her church, ASPCA and St.Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Visiting at Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from 4-8 PM. Where Funeral Services will be held at 7 PM.
