Robert (Bob) W. Brunner, Sr.

Robert Brunner (Bob) formerly of Hartsdale, NY passed away on Wednesday October 26, 2022, at the age of 86. He was born in North Tarrytown, NY son of the late William and Edna (Graf) Brunner. Bob is survived by his wife Joan (Blanchard) Brunner, and their sons Bob (Colleen), Rick (Katie), and Jim (Gail).  He was Grandfather of Erica (Jon), Alexa (Jake), Breana (Mick), Will, Nina, Kyra, James, Jack, and Great Grandfather of Gabriel, Julian, and Hallie. Bob is also survived by his brother Edward (Michele) and sister-in-law Debra Meyer and their families. Bob graduated from Alexander Hamilton High School, in Elmsford, NY. He was a Member and Instructor for Plumber’s Local 299; Building Commissioner in the Town of Greenburgh; Director of Licensing for Westchester County Plumbing and Electrical Trades; and served on the New York State Building Officials Code Council. He enjoyed family times; sports (especially those involving his sons); the plumbing trade, the Elmsford Reformed Church, and periods at Piseco Lake, NY and Cocoa Beach, Fl. Visitation and service Hawthorne Funeral Home, 21 Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, NY 10532, Saturday November 26, 2022, Visitation 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, and service 12:30 PM .
