Robert L. Parks, 71 years of age and a resident of White Plains, NY, passed on December 18, 2021, Saturday in the city in which he resided in, White Plains, NY. His cause of passing was a long fight with cancer causing illnesses.

Robert L. Parks was born on June 20, 1950 in the Bronx, NY to his parents Thelma W. Parks(mother) and Robert J. Parks(father). Robert was able to serve in the U.S. Military as a National Guard for more than two years. He was married to Roxanne Jefferson on October 19, 1991-more than 30 years of marriage. Children: Robin Parks, Dominique M. Jefferson and only son Jonathan R. Parks.

Robert Parks attended Westchester Community College.

He was a hardworking man and serving his community. Work history includes: Search for Change, Peter Pan Long Distance Bus Driver, Bee Line Bus System for Westchester County, NY. He was a bus driver for many years.

Robert was a God-fearing man. He studied with The Jehovah Witnesses with his wife for many years, learning about God. Robert was also a member of the Friends of Bill W for over 35 years, helping men and members put their lives back on track.

Robert L. Parks leaves behind his loving family which includes three sisters Alberta, Thelma, and Deborah; one living brother named Johnnie. Robert just lost his middle brother William (Billy) in March of 2021, due to COVID-19. Robert was a loving brother to all his siblings. He was an uncle to a number of nieces and nephews, who are: Darryl, Clifford, LaTanya, Latasha, Shawnette, Ebony and Rahmel. He also had a great number of great nieces and nephews. Robert also leaves behind his oldest daughter Robin Parks from his first marriage. In 1991 he married Roxanne Jefferson, with their two children Dominique M. Jefferson and his one and only son Jonathan R. Parks. Roxanne and Robert were married for over 30 years.

The services for Robert L. Parks will be on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at 3:00 PM via Zoom with the Jehovah Witnesses (Zoom info will be available soon for all). The Parks family would like to thank the Montefiore Hospital Center, The White Plains Nursing Care Center, and the Jehovah Witnesses of White Plains East. The many friends and family members who help with love and donations.

Robert L. Parks will be greatly missed among his many friends and family members. He is at peace now with no more pain and suffering, being held and loved by Jehovah God and Jesus Christ.
