Robert A. Marano, Jr. 60, of Thornwood, N.Y. died on June 5, 2021 at his residence surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on June 15, 1960 to Robert A. and Patricia (nee Hackert) Marano in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Robert was employed by the Town of Greenburgh, Water Department Foreman.  He is survived by his father, Robert (Maria) Marano of The Villages, FL and his mother, Patricia Marano of Hampton Bays, N.Y. and devoted wife, Katherine (nee Carravone) Marano of Thornwood, N.Y. two loving daughters, Ariana (Peter) Perpepaj of White Plains, N.Y. and Demi Marano (Michael Corveddu)  of Thornwood, N.Y. two sisters, Kim (Richard) Scappaticci of The Villages, FL and Tracy Marano – Fumarelli ( Rob Troccoli) of White Plains, N.Y. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 4-8 PM, where funeral services will be held at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, 500 Westchester Ave. West Harrison, N.Y. 10604, would be appreciated.
