Robert J. Kenny 68, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on Dec.17,2018 at his residence. He was born on Dec. 29, 1949 to the late Harold and Helen (nee Gardocki) Kenny in Bronx, N.Y. He was a retired custodial engineer with the NYC Board of Education. Robert is survived by his devoted wife, Lucille (nee Diomede) Kenny of Hawthorne, N.Y. and by his loving daughters, Lauren (Chris) Jagenburg of Port Washington, N.Y., Kimberly (Andrew) Damin of Hawthorne, N.Y., Christine (Caleb) Morairty of San Francisco, CA and Meghan Kenny of Austin, TX. one sister, Lorraine (Ken) Sinclair of Staten Island, N.Y. also survived by his five cherished grandchildren, Emma, Brandon, Mason, Owen and Francey. Predeceased by one brother, John Kenny. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Friday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society, would be appreciated.
