Robert S. Fragola

Robert Fragola went home to the Lord on January 23, 2015. Robert was born in Brooklyn on March 11, 1956, raised in Burnside, Campbell Hall, NY and lived in White Plains, NY. A loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and good friend, Robert was the one person who you could always count on to make you smile. A graduate of Washingtonville High School and NYU, a persevering fan of the Knicks and Jets, and an accomplished driver and lover of motorsports, Robert spent his career in the computer and software industry. There are people that are fun to be around, there are people who you can count on when you need help, and there are still others who can teach and guide you. Robert was all of those things and more. A devastating impressionist, his unforgettable imitations included conversations between Aunt Mary and Uncle Leo Russo and George Harrison introducing the members of his band. But he wasn't just about a good time. When times got tough you could count on Robert to be there to help. Granted at times his response could be somewhat panicky but ultimately he would always come through no matter what the situation. And what you learned from Robert was not what you could find in books unless, of course, it had to do with auto racing. Robert taught by example. He tried to make everyone's life a little better and treated everyone with respect no matter what their circumstance. Robert is survived by his mother Ann, wife Lauren, brother Richard and his daughters Kristen and Kara. Anyone that spent any time with him has a little of bit of Robert in them. Something that is very dear and something that no one would ever want to let go. And the reality is that no one really ever dies. Robert has just changed form.
