Robert D. Dam

Robert David Dam, 71, of Thornwood, New York, passed away in the afternoon of September 10, 2022. Robert was born in White Plains, NY to Charles and Barbara Dam. He is survived by his wife, Laura; his four children, Michelle, Ronald, Paul and Christina; his brother Ronald and sister-in-law Patricia; his daughters-in-law, Yinette and Bella; his sons-in-law Franco and Richard, and countless nieces and nephews and their children.

Robert was recently retired from the Town of Greenburgh as Head Building Inspector. He also was an Air Force veteran. In his spare time, he enjoyed helping his children complete projects on their homes, visiting with his brother in Florida and tinkering with electronics. The time he enjoyed most though was being Pop-Pop to his four grandchildren Jonathan, Liam, Juliette and Sarah. Robert was also an avid Harry Potter fan and enjoyed collecting movie memorabilia and attending Harry Potter themed events. He will be missed greatly by all his family and friends.
