Rita M. Herman

Rita M. Herman 94, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on Nov.3, 2020 at her residence. She was born on Feb.10, 1926 to the late Thomas and Louise (nee Goodwin) Sheridan in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. Rita was a longtime member of the Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. Rosary Altar Society and Mt. Pleasant Seniors. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Patrick Herman in 2005 and also predeceased by her two sisters, Agnes Allison and Louise Puccio and three brothers, Philip, Thomas and Robert. She is survived by her loving children, Patrick John (Margaret) Herman of Cortlandt Manor, N.Y., James Thomas (Laura) Herman of Wilmington, NC., Rita Mary (Stanley) Majdanski of Hawthorne, N.Y. and Margaret Mary (David) Schmidt of Putnam Valley, N.Y. Also survived by her ten cherished grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday, 3-7 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Saturday, 10 AM. Interment, Mt.Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, N.Y.
