Richard E. Bradsell, Jr.

Richard Eugene Bradsell, Jr. passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, New York.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Bradsell (Mc Closkey), his daughters Denise Dunn and Victoria Nelson, as well as his stepdaughter, Janet Sweeney. He is also survived by his sister Carol Nee. He was blessed with eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren as well.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Emilia (Kanapaska) Bradsell, daughter Susan Schroers, and three grandchildren.

Richard worked for over 20 years at Westchester County Jail as a Corrections Officer, eventually working his way up the ranks to become Captain. In his free time, Richard enjoyed fishing, biking, golfing and being outdoors. Ritchie, as his family and friends called him, had a great sense of humor and enjoyed family barbeques and holiday celebrations. We know these gatherings will not be the same without him, but we hope our happy memories will ease our hearts.
