Raymond Morasco

Raymond Morasco, 87, entered into eternal rest on Thursday August 3, 2023, after a hard-fought 24 hour battle with septic shock. He was a beloved husband, father, father-in-law, and grandfather. Born in Brooklyn and raised in the Bronx, he proudly served in the Navy from 1955-1957. He later raised his family in Queens with his beloved wife of 65 years, Maryann, and spent summers at their lake house in Lake Peekskill. He left college after two years to start his own business. He worked tirelessly at Ray’s Delicatessen for almost four decades, and finally retired when his granddaughter was born. The last 26 years of his life were dedicated to his family, particularly his cherished granddaughter and grandson whom he helped to raise. He was predeceased by his mother and his two sisters.
