Raymond McPartlan passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. He lived in the Village of Elmsford for 52 years. Ray leaves behind his wife Barbara {58 years of marriage}, a son, Bryan and a grandson, Joseph. He is also survived by his sister, Karen Conte and niece, Michelle plus numerous cousins.
Ray was a speed skater in his youth. He has many metals and even tried out for the Olympics. Ray coached Little League baseball. He officiated Pop Warner and Junior Varsity football games at various schools in the area. When he moved to Elmsford, Ray was eager to join the Volunteer Fire Department which he did in 1977. Ray then moved up the ranks to become Chief. He held many positions in the Fire Dept. as well as in the Benevolent Association. Ray became Cub Master of the local Pack and then Scoutmaster of the Boy Scout Troup.
Before his retirement Ray worked for Baker's Pride Oven Co.
programming the sheet metal Machine that bent and cut out the parts for the Pizza ovens.
