Rachel Main Skoog
April 30, 1923 — October 13, 2007
Rachel Main Skoog of White Plains died peacefully at her home on October 13, 2007. She was 84. Mrs. Skoog taught in the Yonkers Public School system for more than twenty-five years and also worked as a social worker in Westchester County.
Rachel was born in Hudson, NY to Clarence E. and Elsie J. Main on April 30, 1923. Her daughter Dr. Dagna Laufer, her son-in-law, William and her granddaughter, Hannah survive her. Her family loves her dearly.
A child Cynthia Main Skoog died in 1955.
A private funeral service will be held. Interment will be at Montrepose Cemetery in Kingston, NY.
