Pura (Suarez) Lovequist

Pura Lovequist 86, formerly of Hawthorne, N.Y. and most recently of Somers, N.Y. died on Mar. 6, 2018. She was born on Oct. 28, 1931 to the late Jose and Luisa Suarez in White Plains, N.Y. Pura was a retired Office Mgr. at Pleasantville Cottage School in Pleasantville, N.Y. She loved dancing and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Joseph Lovequist in 2017 and also predeceased by her beloved son, Gary M. Lovequist in 2013. Pura is survived by her loving daughter, Lou Ann (Timothy) Adams of Brewster, N.Y. and also survived by her three cherished grandchildren, Kevin, Michael and Emily Adams. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Saturday, 10 AM. Interment, Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, N.Y.
