Peter J. Valenti, III, 32, of Redding, CT. died suddenly on April 11, 2016. He was born on June 28, 1983 to Peter and Joann Valenti, Jr. in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. He was an electronic engineer with Hologic Corp. in Danbury, Ct. Peter was predeceased by his devoted wife, Paula Valenti in March of 2016. and is survived by his loving parents, Peter J. Jr. and Joann Valenti of Stormville, N.Y. also survived by his cherished son, Vincent Valenti and by his two loving sisters, Michelle (Stephen) Turner of LaGrange, N.Y. and Andrea Valenti of Stormville, N.Y. also survived by his paternal grandmother, Nancy Valenti of Cape Cod, MA and by his beloved aunts and uncles, Nancy and Robert Meehan of Hawthorne, N.Y., Joyce and Gary McLay of Mahopac, N.Y., Ronald and Bridget Valenti of New Fairfield, CT, Gerald and Lynn Valenti of Redding, CT., Laura and Frank Russo of Poughkeepsie, N.Y. and Lisa and Gerald Tenja of Bronx, N.Y. Predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Peter Valenti and by his maternal grandparents, Frank and Gloria DiBetta.
Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday, (today) 10 AM-11:30 AM. Funeral Mass, Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. at 12 Noon. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers a College Fund will be set up for his son, Vincent Valenti in the future, details to follow from the family.
