Paul Martin Howell, December 17, 1969 - December 20, 2023. We said goodbye to our dear brother, uncle, nephew and cousin on December 20, 2023. Paul had a beautiful and genuine soul, deeply inspiring everyone around him. A gifted artist with an unmatched verve for life, Paul had an incredible knack for reimagining the beauty in the world, whether on canvas or on the computer. His art reflected his love of music, television, movies and NY sports teams; his work included many of his favorite performers and players, always with a unique twist. After college, Paul pursued an advanced degree in Psychology, motivated by his supreme curiosity and endless desire to help others. His generosity was boundless, his spirit was inexhaustible and his positive energy was infectious. There was no one more selfless than Paul; he never complained and always took more of an interest in others than himself. Paul loved dogs and particularly adored his cherished spaniel Roxy and his French bulldogs Darby and Carly. Like his mother and grandfather before him, Paul's inspired wit regularly brought tears of laughter to our eyes, leaving us always wanting more. And though he now leaves us with tears of sadness in our eyes, we know Paul is free again. Not only was Paul our brother, uncle, nephew and cousin, but he was also our best friend. As Paul reunites with his loved ones who have gone before him and now welcome him home, we know that he is once again the life of the party, instantly befriending everyone he meets. He would have it no other way. We love you and miss you, Paul, always and forever!
Paul is survived by his brothers Shane and Mitchell; his nieces Shelby and Andie; his aunts Rebecca and Carol; his uncles Buddy and Robert; and many beloved cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Humane Society of Westchester (New Rochelle, NY) as an expression of sympathy.
