Patricia M. DiTullio was 92 years old and lived in White Plains. She died March 18, 2019 at King Street Rehab in Rye Brook due to complications of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. Patricia was born October 19, 1926 at home in the Bronx of Percy and Helen Mallett. She attended P.S. 12, Villa Maria Academy, Notre Dame College of Staten Island and Fordham University. She earned a bachelors and master's degrees in Biology and Elementary Education. She was married to John DiTullio. She lived in the Bronx before moving to White Plains. Patricia taught elementary education for many years at PS 71 and PS 72 in the Bronx. She taught many children how to read and mentored many teachers. Patricia was a devoted member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church in White Plains. She was a generous supporter of many charitable organizations, such as the White Plains Library, VFW, Maryknoll, and the Cardinal's Appeal. Patricia is survived by her daughter Margaret DeGasperis, her grandchildren Carly and Wesley DeGasperis, her great-grandchildren Timothy and Riley Baker and her niece Barbara White. She was predeceased by her spouse John DiTullio, her granddaughter Emma DeGasperis her sister Helen Reid. Visitation will be held Wednesday March 20, 2019 from 2 to 4pm and 6-8pm at Ballard-Durand Funeral & Cremation Services at 2 Maple Ave. White Plains, NY 10601, 914-949-0566.
