Nicola Ruvo, 87 of Hawthorne New York, was called home to heaven on December 30, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Nicola was born November 8, 1936 in Castelgrande, Italy to the late Antonio and Cristina (Federici) Ruvo.
Nicola is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Grace, his children, Maria LaRose and her husband Louis, his son Anthony and his cherished grandchildren Gabriella and Nicholas as well as his furry grandchildren Charlie and Luca. Nicola is also survived by his brother Vincenzo Ruvo and his wife Maria Pia. Nicola is predeceased by his brother Francesco Ruvo and sister in law Gabriella. He is also survived by his nephews, Marco, Paolo, Antonio and Alberto.
Nicola immigrated to the United States in 1960 and worked for 20 years at Stella D'Oro Biscuit Company in Bronx, New York as a Baking Foreman.
Nicola loved to spend time with his family, telling stories, gathered around the dinner table. He also loved to garden, to make wine and tomato sauce, he especially loved eating pasta and was always so very proud of his Italian Heritage.
