Nana June Schenck

Schenck, Nana June (Caruso) born June 1, 1929 in New York City died May 20, 2012. A long-time resident of Evanston, IL, she recently moved to the Classic Residence in Yonkers to be near her two daughters, Mary Schenck (Zachary Weiss) of White Plains, NY and Katherine Schenck of Medford, MA. In addition to her daughters, she is survived by her grandsons Peter and Benjamin Weiss. She was predeceased by her husband The Rev. Mills Schenck, Jr. in 1999.

Born and raised in Manhattan, she graduated from The Brearley School. She received a BA from Wells College, Aurora, NY after retiring from a sales career at Marshall Fields and Co., she became a docent for the Evanston History Center at the Charles Dawes House. A beloved mother and grandmother, she will be sorely missed.
