Muriel Bartell

Muriel Bartell passed away on February 4, 2021 after a brief hospital stay. She was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1925, and was raised in the Bronx. Muriel was married to the late Sydney Bartell. She was a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had a zeal for life, loved her family and took an active interest in all things cultural, political, and religious. In addition, she had a love for her Jewish heritage, and a keen interest in music, history and travel. Muriel was a good and caring friend. She especially took pride and satisfaction in her years as a substitute teacher. Muriel's passing is deeply mourned by all who knew her. Her family prays that she is now at perfect rest.
