ROBERT W. KINNEY, age 77 of Hartsdale, NY, passed away on April 19, 2019. He is survived by his wife Jane A. Lawrence, son Jack L. Kinney and sister Eileen K. Pendorf. He is predeceased by his brother Raymond T. Kinney, Jr., his father Raymond T. Kinney and mother Kathleen Kleissler Kinney. Born in Newark, NJ on October 15, 1941, he graduated from Seton Hall University. Bob worked as a copy editor, editor, photographer, social worker, and teacher. He had a woodworking business in New York City for 10 years, was a partner in a display manufacturing business and served as a financial manager for a commercial real estate company. Bob loved all kinds of music, Japanese and Chinese artwork, ocean beaches, classic films and cats. He served on the First Unitarian Society of Westchester's finance committee and championed their recent successful legacy campaign. Bob was a devoted husband, father and brother. He will be remembered by his wonderful smile, terrific sense of humor and calm, loving, and supportive nature. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the First Unitarian Society of Westchester, 25 Old Jackson Avenue, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY 10706.
