Mildred S. Ensiminger

Mildred Ensminger 78, of Hawthorne, NY and formally of Yonkers,NY died on June 17th,2021 with her family by her side. She was born October 30th,1942 to the late Mary Dempsey and William Ensminger. Mildred was pre-deceased by her beloved Raymond Melanson in 2017. She is survived by her two sisters Debra Hanley (Hawthorne, NY) and Florence Zemenak (Easton, PA) as well as many nieces, great nieces, nephews, and great nephews. Mildred (Millie) was an avid crocheter and loved spending her time making blankets for many, including the pets at the local shelters. She also enjoyed her old time western tv shows, Jeopardy, golf and listening to her Dolly Parton music. But, most of all spending time with family and friends.

Visiting at Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 6-8 PM where Funeral Services will be held at 7 PM.

In lieu of flowers we ask that memorial donations in honor of Mildred Ensminger be made to Kids Walk for MSK Kids.  A walk near and dear to our family’s heart for the kids being treated for cancer at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Link below:
