Michael S. Pappas

On Wednesday February 8th, at 6:30 p.m., Michael S. Pappas, 83, left this world surrounded by his family.

Born to Christine and Michael S. Pappas, Michael was raised in the Bronx where he met the love of his life, Carmen. They were married for 60 years before her passing in June of 2021.

Michael was a restaurant owner, serving the people tirelessly in the industry that he dedicated his life to. His love of football and sports was well known to many. Michael was a loving father, father-in- law, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

He is survived by his great granddaughter Scarlet Rae, great grandson Christian Xavier, grandsons Steven Gregory, Nicholas Spero, Michael Zachary and granddaughter Erika Lauren. Children Christopher Pope, Michael Gregory and Denise Lynn and his sister Diane along with her family.

Michael could be seen on any given Sunday at Pancakes Plus, seating deuces, four tops and large parties for breakfast, lunch and of course, pancakes!

Michael and Carmen were active supporters of St. Jude and Shriners Hospitals for Children . Any donations can be sent directly to those organizations in his name.
