Michael V. Grande 81, of Thornwood, N.Y. died on Feb. 24, 2014 at his residence. He was born on Sept. 3, 1932 to the late Frank and Maria (nee Gesmundo) Grande in Yonkers N.Y. Michael loved boating and the water and was a veteran in the US Army. Michael was a contractor and builder for the Michael Grande Construction Corp. in Thornwood, N.Y. Michael is predeceased by his three brothers and two sisters. He survived by his former wife RoseMarie Grande of Ossining, N.Y. his loving children Frank (Karen) Grande of North White Plains, N.Y. daughter Maria (Thomas) Griffin of Valhalla, N.Y. his loving brother Nicholas Grande of Houston, TX and his cherished grandson Thomas Michael Griffin.
