Mary R. Zangari

Mary R. (nee Mabli) Zangari , 79, of Elmsford, NY, Died Thursday April 29, 2004. Mary was born in the Bronx, NY on May 10, 1924. She married Joseph Zangari at Our Lady of Pity Church, Bronx, NY on January 15, 1955. They settled in Elmsford and lived there 42 years. He predeceased her in 2003. Mary went to Jane Adams Trade School for sewing and worked in a sewing shop for many years. She enjoyed her daily routine of cleaning the house, and ironing clothes. Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Elmsford, NY, and a member of the Fairview Fire Department Auxiliary. She is survived by two sons Joseph and John Zangari, one brother Jerry Mabli, and two grandchildren Jacqueline and Christopher. Reposing Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM Hawthorne Funeral Home, Hawthorne, NY. Funeral Mass Saturday 9:30 AM Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Elmsford, NY. Entombment Ferncliff Mausoleum, Hartsdale, NY.
