Mary J. (Gallagher) Scagnelli

Mary J. Scagnelli 51, formerly of Hawthorne, N.Y., died on Nov. 15, 2022 at Calvary Hospital, Bronx, N.Y. She was born on March 6, 1971 to Gerald and Joan (nee Shepherd) Gallagher in White Plains, N.Y. Mary was a graduate of Westlake High School. Besides her father, Gerald Gallagher of Virginia Beach, VA., she is survived by her loving children, Michelle and Joseph Scagnelli, both of Hyde Park, N.Y., and her two grandchildren, Mahlia and Reese.  She is also survived by her devoted siblings, Scott (Karen) Gallagher of River Vale, NJ., James (Patricia) Gallagher of Newtown, CT, and Cathy (Michael) Basile of Mohegan Lake, N.Y. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting at Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday, Nov.18, 2022, from 11:30-12:30 PM. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society .
