Martin (Marty) Fabian, 78, of Monroe, New York, passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 5 th , 2022.
Marty was Borough Park, Brooklyn born and raised to Eva and Dave Fabian. He was a proud alumni of Brooklyn Tech high school and CCNY where he earned his Bachelor’s degree. He eventually moved to Monroe with his wife, Lynn, who he built a beautiful life with for 27 years until she unfortunately lost a long battle with Cancer in 2006.
He is survived by those who he loved and cherished more than anything. His children Jonathan (wife Amy and granddaughter Gabby), Lori (husband Jan), Mike (wife Becca), and Joyce (granddaughter Sara and grandson Matthew), his sister Myra, and his Partner of 12 years, Mary (daughter Veronica, her husband Jeremy, and grandsons Alex, Tristan, and George; son Ellis-Michael, his wife Betsy, granddaughter Caroline, and grandson Eli).
The unofficial Mayor of Windridge II, those who knew him for a moment or a lifetime, would concur that he was always the first to offer help or hand tool, needing a lift or a laugh, a shot of Jack Daniels or a bottle of Beechwood House BBQ sauce, a “simple” political chat or commiserating over another Jets loss, he touched many lives and will be very much missed by so many.
