Marylin E. Bennett Michell passed away on October 13, 2018 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by her husband Clarence "Mickey" Michell, to whom she was married for 57 years. She was the oldest daughter of Stuart and Camilla Bennett of Johnson City, NY. She was also predeceased by her three sisters, Elinor Slavick, Elaine Brearly and Diane Hasley. She is survived by all four of her children, Gary, Wendy Mulhall, Glenn and Gregg. Marylin and her husband lived and raised their children on Battle Hill in White Plains, NY. She leaves behind eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren whom she loved very much. In addition to raising four children, she worked for Readers Digest, Pepsico and Swackhammer Lumber. She was an avid reader and loved spending time at her summer home in the Southern Tier if the Catskills on Silver Lake NY. Friends may calling on Wednesday, October 17 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Avenue at South Broadway, White Plains, NY. Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, October 18 at 10am followed by a an entombment at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Putnam Valley, NY.
