Marie R. Pellegrino

Marie R. Pellegrino 96, of Thornwood, N.Y. and formerly of Bronx, N.Y. died on March 16,2022 at Calvary Hospital in Bronx, N.Y. She was born on Feb.8,1926 to the late Frank and Josephine (nee Scala) Petrone in Bronx, N.Y. She was a retired Administrative Asst. with Leonard Sisto Realty in Bronx, N.Y. Marie was a member of the Mount Pleasant Seniors, Knights of Columbus, Ladies Auxiliary, in the Wakefield Section of Bronx, N.Y. and a former active parishioner of St. Frances of Rome Church in Bronx, N.Y. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Lawrence Pellegrino in 2009 and also predeceased by her sister and brother in law, Elma and John Giancamillo. Marie is survived by her loving children, William Pellegrino of Yonkers, N.Y. and Frank  (Regina) Pellegrino of Thornwood, N.Y.  also survived by her three cherished grandchildren, Frank L., Nicholas J. (Elle) and Anthony W. and her three great grandchildren, Matthew, Joseph Victor and Estelle. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Saturday, 10 AM. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
