Marie Kelly

Marie Kelly 70, of Thornwood, N.Y. died on Feb.14,2022 at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Sleepy Hollow, N.Y. She was born on May 6,1951 to the late Frank and Mary (nee Kiernan) Whitney in Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford, Ireland. Marie immigrated from Ireland to NYC in 1972 and later moved to the Bronx and Westchester Co.  She was a  Switchboard Operator at The Carlyle Hotel in NYC. Marie is survived by her devoted husband, Thomas Kelly of Thornwood, N.Y. and whom she married on Sept.13, 1975. Three loving daughters, Catrina Kelly (Kaleb Joiner) of Burlington, VT., Caroline Cammarata of Mahopac, N.Y. and Maureen (Billy) Concannon of Yorktown Hgts., N.Y. two brothers, Peter(Mary),Paddy Whitney and sister, Bridie Gilhooley. Also survived by her five cherished  grandchildren, Kelli Anne, Tommy, Liam, Aidan and Whitney . Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers, Frank (Mary) and Joe Whitney and sister, Kathleen(Noel) Heery, Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday, Feb.18,2022 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Saturday, 10 AM. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
